Good Evening, Fellow LonelyPerchers!!
Tuesday in the cottonwood was a lonely one. We only had a few short glimpses of the juvies today but they did keep up a chorus of squees from near and far to let us know they were around. Mid-afternoon there was a feeding frenzy-like cacophony of squees in the tree out of sight of the cam that suggested they were picnicking on a branch somewhere. That lasted for quite a while and then things quieted down again with one heard far away and one closer. The panner scanned around quite a bit but no sign of them in the tree or out at the speeder tree was seen. The evening saw a couple of fly-ins, one of the adults and the juvies, and then things settled down for the night. Darkness fell on a lovely Minnesota day and we hope tomorrow will be just as nice.
On to the vids of the day.
Some lightning that Rick Black captured 2 days ago outside their apartment.
